Mirror State was a brand identity and motion system developed for Proofpoint. I used it as a medium to explore a concept I’d been fascinated by for years. Refraction. And how things change, warp, and abstract in an environment full of mirrors.
We made gradient light panels from the palette that we evolved for this event and stuck them into the workspace to see how extruded versions of the newly refreshed brand assets would read. The result — a mirror state. An environment where you can’t hide anything. A light, an artifact… a cyberthreat. Everything becomes visible in this place.
